The episode starts with Vihaan telling Vishwas that the police have taken him away because he used the word “dowry.” Dimple tells Vihaan that Vishwas hasn’t done anything wrong. She accuses Aarambhi of turning Vihaan against Vishwas.
Aarambhi tells Vihaan that he should not behave like that with Vishwas. She says that Vishwas has a misunderstanding and that it will be cleared once she talks to him. Raj comments on the Tandon family, saying that even a small child can see that Aarambhi has done nothing wrong, but they cannot.
Dhruv feels guilty because the Tandon family are blaming Aarambhi for a mistake he made. He decides to tell the truth but backs down, thinking that if he does, the Tandon family will become wary of him and learn the truth. Dhruv thinks that he cannot tell the truth to the Tandon family. He apologises to Aarambhi in his heart because he cannot reveal the truth or help her. Dhruv scolds himself for putting the video in Vihaan’s pen drive.

Aarambhi also says that just as Avantika stole the pen drive from the police evidence room, someone could have stolen the pen drive from this house as well. Vihaan agrees and says that the pen drive was in his zip-lock pouch. He says that anyone could have taken it. Aarambhi asks Avantika if she has any proof besides the pen drive that Aarambhi sent the video to the police. Avantika remains silent. Aarambhi tells Avantika that she has no proof because Aarambhi has done nothing wrong and comments on it. Avantika tells Dimple that she stole the pen drive from the police for the sake of the Tandon family, yet Aarambhi is scolding her.
Dimple comments on Aarambhi. Manju and Balbir arrive at the Tandon house. Manju shouts at Aarambhi.
Dhruv apologises to Aarambhi in his heart because she is suffering for something he has done. He worries that the Tandon family will separate Aarambhi from Vihaan. Dhruv tells Aarambhi in his heart that she has to fight this battle by herself today.
Manju asks Aarambhi how she can talk back to her mother-in-law. Dimple comments on Aarambhi and says that she sent the video to the police. Balbir believes Aarambhi is innocent. Vishwas argues with Balbir and shows him the pen drive with Vihaan’s name on it. Manju believes the Tandon family and demands that Aarambhi apologise to them. Aarambhi refuses. Manju apologises on Aarambhi’s behalf and tries to fall at Dimple’s feet. Aarambhi stops Manju and asks what she is doing. Manju says that she is doing what Aarambhi should be doing and comments on her. Aarambhi stands in front of Lord Ganesh and swears an oath before God by placing her hand on the diya, saying that she has not sent the video to the police.
