The episode begins with Jeet happily enjoying the parathas from his tiffin while Shaurya forces Shaumya to dance to a vulgar song. Shaumya refuses and pushes Shaurya away. Just then, a ball accidentally hits Jeet’s tiffin, causing the parathas to fall on the ground. Furious, Jeet picks up the ball and deliberately pours water over Shaurya’s music system. When Shaurya protests, Jeet replies that if Shaurya can ruin his parathas, he can ruin his brand-new speaker.
Later, Shaumya enters the classroom but slips and falls. During the Hindi lecture, the teacher’s uncomfortable behaviour leaves Shaumya uneasy. Before the class continues, Pakhi arrives and takes Shaumya for the freshers’ introduction.
On the stage, Shaumya struggles to introduce herself because of her lack of confidence. Pakhi motivates her to believe in herself, but Shaumya hesitates. At that moment, she receives a call from her mother and rushes home.

The young man asks whether she sings, while her brother dislikes the way he questions her. Shaumya’s mother hopes this proposal works out, describing her daughter as pure as the Ganga. When the boy tries to speak with Shaumya, she remains silent, and her aunt steps in to handle the awkward conversation. After Shaumya finally speaks, the boy immediately loses interest. As Shaumya returns his phone, she overhears him calling her “defective,” leaving her heartbroken. Unable to control her tears, she accidentally drops his phone.
Jeet witnesses Shaumya crying. When the groom prepares to reject her, Jeet deliberately wipes his dirty hands on the man’s shirt and sarcastically apologises, saying he was also trying to reject Shaumya after saying sorry. His act leaves the groom embarrassed.
Shaumya breaks down, questioning why boys always get to reject her while no one ever asks for her opinion. She wishes she could reject someone for once but never gets that opportunity. Vedant calls to check on her, and although Shaumya admits she has disappointed her father, she ends the conversation, promising to speak later.
Jeet teases Shaumya about having a boyfriend and jokingly offers her a beer to boost her confidence. She accidentally drops the beer can, and it lands on Anup. He immediately sends her to her room after learning that the marriage proposal has been rejected. Shaumya’s aunt taunts her mercilessly and blames Anup’s upbringing, while Anup, deeply hurt, asks Shaumya to go and rest.
Later, Pakhi visits Shaumya and helps her rehearse her introduction for the freshers’ event. With Pakhi’s encouragement, Shaumya finally agrees to participate and learns that life can become sweet even after bitter experiences.
The next morning, Shaumya dreams of standing on the stage while Jeet keeps asking her to bring his tiffin. She wakes up, prays to God for strength, and continues practising. Jeet reminds her to pack extra parathas before leaving. At home, her aunt once again tries to discourage her, while Anup silently asks Madhu to prepare breakfast without speaking to Shaumya. Madhu encourages her daughter to stay confident, and Shaumya promises Anup that she will make him proud today. Touched by her determination, Anup finally wishes her all the best
